Get creative, Get active, Get involved

First and foremost MJF is an international youth creativity competition for ages 14-29. MJF brings together youth to collaborate in the areas of creativity, education and social awareness. Film, music, photography, fashion, machinima and social issues, all sides of the creative individual are represented at MJF. Prizing includes tuition to universities and colleges around the world.
What else does MJF do:
- MJF and their sponsors/partners/supporters execute and develop online and offline arts based educational programs around the world. These countries include Haiti, Mexico, India, Canada, and Brazil. - MJF works internationally producing documentaries which highlight human rights issues at home and abroad. Most recently MJF was in West Africa producing a documentary on girls rights. "Oasis of Hope" follows the lives of best friends who come from different worlds and religious backgrounds and how they find a common bond in their pain and hope.
- MJF also screened their most recent documentary, "Child Slavery: The Hypocricy of Haiti" at the National Film Board of Canada. Documenting the lives 3 Canadians trying to bing awareness and make a difference in the troubled country of Haiti.
- MJF has created a unique tool for engaging youth at events. MJF develops and executes "mobile" creativity camps which work with event promoters/sponsors to engage youth while at the concert, conference or ski hill. These "mobile" camps come equipped with mobile video phones, numerous editing bays, staff who provide assistance to first time creators, and innovative mobile delivery systems for previewing or voting on content. MJF Mission
Mobile Jam Fest has been developed and produced by a community of creative youth, individuals, and organizations who work if a variety of different sectors for the purpose of providing democratic, positive and safe platforms for youth to create and collaberate.
These sectors include non-profit, corporate, educational and governmental agencies. Our goal is to create a sustainable offline and online "arts" educational programming, the platform where youth can profile their creative achievements; and finally further their education and international.
